On Sunday One of the photojournalist ,Dith Pran, for New York Times died at 65 years old living  Woodbridge, New Jersey.  The cause of his death was pancreatic cancer and it spread all over h is body.   He was a assigned to Southeast Asia photography with his partner Mr. Schanberg. His work was done by taking notes, translating, and taking pictures.  He was leter sperated from his partner so he had to stay in Khmer Rouge, the Cambodian Communists. He was so special His partner wrote about him the New York times in 1980.

From what i read he was a very respectable and down to business guy!! He had a wife and kids which he took care of and cared for.

 Four years or more ago Ryan Shay,28, died durin th Untied Olympics which they hust found out was caused an irregular heartbeat that started from an enlarged and scarred heart.   He had an enlarged heart since he was 14 years old.  After his death he had patchy scars on him which they just niticed was fibrosis.  Also, his toxiology test were coming back positive.  His father Joe Shay says “I believe it was a fair and accurate assessment, everything that could be done was done, and it’s great that they devoted so much time to this.”  His purpose was coming to New York and making the first Olympic team but 5 and half miles in the run he collapsed. hhe was rushed to Lenox Hill hospital and pronounced dead at 8:46.    He was known as a fit,and an  endurance athlete.

It is sad that he had to loose his life in something that he enjoys! But he died a strong person.

   It was breaking news for one of the parents who has two kids attending St. Pius V School in the Bronx to find out that the school is shutting down. The parent, Diana Santana was told by the principal, Violeta G. Domigo on Wednesday morning.  The school has to be shut down becaise of financial problems. Not only that school is closing but 6 others due to the same problem anonounced by the Archdiocese of New York.  The schools would be shut down in June. Ms. Santana in her hurt said “St. Pius, open for 95 years, is more than a school. It is the hub of a close-knit community in the mostly Hispanic Mott Haven section of the Bronx, linking generations.”  Diana graduated from the school in 1971 and is now public relations officer and is a parent- teacher association  at St. Pius.  The school was walking distance for most of the students.  Closing down the school is going to save Archidoicese about $3 million for a year.

I think this is wrong because Archidoicese not warn the school about raising enrollment.  The school should stay open and gain enrollment.  Many are upset at this decision and not sure what  other school to enroll their child.

Wife who died a quater century ago,  1982, in a Sourthern Califonia parking lot and was shot in the head, her Japenese business husband was arrested due to to his wife’s killing on Friday and authorities are working ot bring him back to  Los Angeles.  He was held under suspiscion of murder which he blames it on robbers. The husband,Kazuyoshi Miura,60, was convicted in Japan in 1994 for the nmurderer but was later overturned. 

 Her mother never lost hope so she burned insense for the case to end.  Daryl Gaates a police who was at the scene and Japenese police had a sense that he killed his wife but it could not be proven. After th death he inherited $1.4 million from his wife’s life insurance.  A actress who he dated told that he hired her to hi s wife in thier hotle room in L.A. he had a six year sentence in Japan due to the murder and later sentee to life but was overturned 4 years later.

If he had an actress set up to kill his wife it is obvious that he wanted his wife killed. So he probably eventually killed her. I think he should do life in prison and no overturnes.

In this article the wife of McCain is using similar words as Michelle Obama(Barack Obama’s wife) to win voters. The words she used from Obama were ” I am proud of my country!” This occured Tuesday morning at a campaign event.   Michelle used those same word the day before at a Wisconsin. Later that day she was being questioned on if she was making a response to what Michelle said. but she responded with “I just wanted to make the statement that I have and always will be proud of my country.”

I feel the other canidates are seeing that Barack Obama and his wife are gaining voters by what is being said at there speeches.  So those canidates are using what they are saying to gain voters too.  Not knowing that all this plagiarize is bring more controversy against the canidates.
